Wow, I sure know how to ruin some running shoes. There is something very wrong with the way that I run. Take a look at the third pair of running shoes that I have destroyed in the
past year.
These shoes don’t even have much mileage on them. They are nowhere near the mileage that calls for a new pair of shoes. But the rubber gets worn down so much that it creates a hole in the bottom of the shoe, which has not yet happened to these.
This model is Saucony Progrid Ride. It is a stability shoe. I have been buying stability shoes because I always thought I had flat feet. However, recently I discovered that my feet aren’t truly flat.
So, this could impact my decision when buying my next pair of running shoes. I have been googling the crap out of running styles, and I don’t know what conclusion to come to.
All I know is that this running gait of mine is becoming a huge expense.
Any thoughts? Does this look like a tread pattern you’ve seen? Don’t worry, I won’t be offended if you tell me I’m a freak of nature.
