It’s early June and runners in Louisiana are experiencing some of the warmest weather in the most recent weeks. This past weekend, there was a bit of a break with temps only in the mid 80s. Hundreds of runners from flooding into Lincoln Parish Park this past Saturday morning for the 3rd race in the 2012 Forge Trail Series, the Hell’s Hills 10k and Half Marathon.
Lincoln Parish Park is located in Ruston, La. and lived up to the race name. From its massive hills to switchbacks, there were a lot of fun obstacles along the course.
The Hell’s Hills 10k is apart of a four race trail series that will be coming to a close in October. The last race, fittingly titled the Battlefield 5 Miler will be in Jackson, La.
