Make the ‘Run Louisiana’ song #1 on   In an effort to raise awareness about obesity and encourage people around the state of Louisiana to go for a run, Claim Your Journey has released a rap music video to announce Run Louisiana Day taking place on December 8th, 2012.

The “Run Louisiana” video was filmed in Louisiana by Tommy Talley featuring the Claim Your Journey founder Brandon M. Williams and friends Steven B. Jones and Katelyn M. Young. The video also includes everyday runners from different local running clubs telling the story of a day in the life of a runner.

The comedic, inspirational song produced by CrackaTrax features lyrics such as, “Final kick is world famous, don’t even try and tame it. Set my mind on my journey and then I go claim it.”

Run Louisiana Day is a time to raise awareness about obesity and inspire people all over the state to go for a run. According to a report released by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention on August 13th, 2012, Louisiana is ranked 2nd in the nation for obesity. Thousands of children and adults are overweight, inactive, and suffer from diseases related to obesity in our state.
