#RunLA Chat: Runner’s Etiquette

Wednesday, August 22nd, 2012 02:10 pm GMT -5 · · Comments · Staff

Tonight, we’re going to talk about a very important topic… Runner’s Etiquette. We all have pet peeves that bother us in running groups, during races, on the run, and etc. According to RRCA, there is an actual set of laws and information that all runners need to become familiar with.

#RunLa Chat is a Twitter chat that we host every second and fourth Wednesday of each month at 8 p.m. The chat is roughly an hour long, encouraging runners across the state of Louisiana to connect and share general and personal knowledge about running. Not to mention, there’s usually some goofing off behind the moderators back as well.

The chat follows a four question format, one question every fifteen minutes. These questions are created and asked by the #RunLA Chat moderators @NOLAwatergirl and @RunBimma. Moderators will use a Q1, Q2, Q3, and Q4 to lead off questions and participants are asked to respond with A1, A2, A3, and A4 to keep the chat organized.

Make sure you follow the hashtag #RunLA if you’re on Twitter.#RunLA swag is in demand and because of it, everyone who participates in #RunLA Chat will be entered to win some!
