On Wednesday night, August 8th, we’re going to talk about the surge of popular themed races that travel across the country. Over the last couple of years, we’ve seen the Warrior Dash, Tough Mudder, and now the NFL Run Series. The chat will be sponsored by the Saints Back to Football 5k. #RunLa Chat is a Twitter chat that we host every second and fourth Wednesday of each month at 8 p.m. The chat is roughly an hour long, encouraging runners across the state of Louisiana to connect and share general and personal knowledge about running. Not to mention, there’s usually some goofing off behind the moderators back as well.
The chat follows a four question format, one question every fifteen minutes. These questions are created and asked by the #RunLA Chat moderators @NOLAwatergirl and @RunBimma. Moderators will use a Q1, Q2, Q3, and Q4 to lead off questions and participants are asked to respond with A1, A2, A3, and A4 to keep the chat organized.
