Here’s a video recap of our most recent stop on the 2012 Run Louisiana Tour at the Geaux Run 8k in Lafayette, LA.
Over 100 runners gathered in the front of the Louisiana Family Fitness Center for the Geaux Run 8k benefitting the Wounded Warriors Foundation.
The race 8am race brought runners from all over the surrounding area to support a great cause and to run a distance that isn’t offered much in Louisiana. The course started at the Louisiana Family Fitness Center and took runners along some of the residential area before finishing back at the center.
One of the highlights from the race had to be the awesome weather at the start of the race. Runners would later admit that it began to heat up soon after.
Jonathan Ganger was the first male overall with a time of 28:59. Pamela Gaillard was the first female with a time of 37:57.
