Whether you sprint like a cheetah or crawl like a turtle this race is for you! Join Club South at BREC’s Baton Rouge Zoo for our seventh annual Zoo Zoom 5K and Kids’ ½-Mile Fun Run on August 25, 2012. The Kids ½-mile Fun Run starts at 7:45 a.m. and the 5K begins at 8:15 a.m.

Runners race past tigers, bears, flamingos and giraffes, while benefitting the Cheetah Conservation Fund (CCF). A small portion of every registration goes directly to the CCF, who raises money for the endangered species. Only about 10,000 of these animals remain today! Don’t miss this one-of-a-kind race in 2012 and help the oldest of the big cats, the cheetah!
